Influenced by personal struggles, 'Cherophobia' is a heartfelt literary romance taking the readers on a journey through the minds of suffering souls and the silent struggles of mental illness.

John Murray, a bright young college student burdened by his tragic past, meets his opposite, June Waters, a high-spirited indie musician who changes his beliefs about life and happiness. John's life completely transforms when his new friend and roommate, unintentionally, leads him into meeting Isabelle, a victim of past abuse. The cavity in Isabelle's heart gets filled as she finds herself developing an unorthodox love to a stranger she met a day before, who in turn, risks his very own life to stay with her. Soon after, the dots start coming together and each one of the characters realizes that they're all connected to some degree.

Will John and Isabelle bring the best out in each other and conquer their pain? Or will they all be defeated and pulled back into darkness, haunted by their traumatic pasts?

Can you be happy when all your life you've known nothing but sadness?
